We had so much fun this past weekend in Leavenworth, WA! If you haven’t been, you should go.
It’s a cute little Bavarian-themed town in the mountains in Washington. I love going when there is snow but it is beautiful during Fall as well!
We went with two other couples and stayed at the Post Hotel which is a full spa resort.
We got couples massages, soaked in the tubs and steam/sauna rooms, and just relaxed for two full days.
Jason and I explored the town a little as well.
They have random little stores, coffee shops and restaurants.
We also did a little golfing but spent 90% of the time at the hotel with our friends hanging out in the spa.
We didn’t really take very many photos because we were just enjoyed being there and soaking it all in but, here are a few iPhone photos to give you an idea of how the Post Hotel is!
The grounds are beautiful and so are the rooms.
I love the design of this entire place and the amenities.
They have an indoor/outdoor pool, hot tubs, cool dips, hot dips, dips for your feet, eucalyptus and lavender steam rooms, and more!
You literally wake up and come downstairs in your robe for breakfast.
They have a full breakfast and lunch included in your stay which is so nice!
You hangout at the spa, come up to eat in your robe, and go back to the spa.
You don’t really have to leave the hotel at all until dinner when you get dressed and walk to town for dinner.
They make it very convenient so that you can truly relax and not do anything, they do it all for you!
Several of you asked for my opinion on this place and I would highly recommend it!
If you are coming from Portland, the drive is pretty far but worth it if you make a weekend trip out of it!
Also take I-84 through the Gorge, it is much more scenic than going on I-5 through Seattle.
If you are looking for a couples retreat or romantic getaway, definitely try the Post Hotel!
See our trip to Leavenworth from several years ago, before I had Charlie here and here! I took way more photos on that trip and not much has changed so those photos can give you a better idea of what the town is like!
