Tips for Transitioning Your Wardrobe From Winter to Spring

The weather has been moody to say the least. We had a few warm, sunny days followed by a cold and stormy day.  Now I can see blue skies as I look out my window this morning.

This is what I call “in-between” seasons weather.

Dressing in between seasons can be hard. It’s not winter cold or spring warm.

Here are some transitional winter to spring pieces and some ideas on how I like to wear them!

Over the Knee Boots – Wear them with flirty spring dresses or mini skirts.

Boyfriend Blazer – Oversized boyfriend blazers in pretty spring colors can be dressed up or down. I love to wear mine with my favorite pair of jeans and mules.

Leather Jackets and Dresses – Leather jackets are warm but don’t look to wintery, especially when paired with a spring dress like I did in this post. You can also wear them with jeans or with shorts when it starts to warm up more.

White Denim – I love a crisp pair of white jeans. Wear them with an oversized blazer or tee and you have a little spring in your step.

Trench Coats –  I have a few trench coats and love wearing them as the weather warms up. They are super light and not bulky. I think everyone should have one neutral trench in their closet for Spring!

Jeans – I love a good pair of jeans because they are comfortable, flattering and so versatile. I think my main closet staple is a good pair of jeans that can be worn year round.
