What a day! I am finally sitting down to do my blog post for the day at 9:06pm.
This is my real outfit for today too!
I usually create content and then post it later, but I am trying to post in more “real time” so that this blog reads more like a story, not just staged and curated content.
I got a ton of questions about my dress when I posted it on Instagram today so it will be linked up here at the bottom of this post. PS: It’s under $30! Grab it before it’s gone ladies (I am wearing a Medium for reference).
Major news for today: we finalized the layout of our new home! It feels more official now that I know what the house will look like!
The best thing about designing your own home is that you get to make it exactly how you want it (within budget obviously)!
After our meeting we stopped by the new house to water the plants again because it’s been a really hot and dry week.
The landscape at our new place is beautiful and even though we aren’t keeping much of the house, I want to preserve the pretty plants and landscape they put in.
(These photos are not taken at our new place, just FYI. We found a pretty spot and Jason snapped a few outfit photos for me!)
Here is a photo of us from today when we had our home design meeting! Such a good day! Feeling extra thankful and happy and… well excited!
Next our plans go to engineering which can take up to two weeks, then to the city for approval, and once approved…. it’s Demo Day!
