One thing I love about summer is being able to fill my home with flowers from my own garden.
I have so many hydrangeas this year and have been able to cut fresh flowers almost every weekend since early June.
This weekend I cut a few more stems and made a couple of flower arrangements and decided to take photos and actually do a blog post.
I’ve been terrible about posting fresh content on here but with both kids starting school in a week, I should have more time to work on content!
Hey it’s Tuesday and I’ve already done two blog posts, it is a good start!
Here are some photos of the blooms from our garden and where I placed them in our home!
I love having fresh flowers on this console table in our entryway, it’s such a beautiful thing to come home to and it’s so inviting.
Not only do I love it, but I think it is a nice thing for guests to also see as they enter our home.
Some places that I love to keep fresh flowers year round include my entryway, nightstand, somewhere in my kitchen or living room (island or coffee table), and the guest bathroom.
Here is the second arrangement I did for our dining room table.
I recently purchased these two white bowls from Target and ordered some more moss balls from Amazon to fill them.
I love decorating with natural elements like flowers, greenery, and moss.
It gives such a cozy, homey vibe, don’t you think?
The off white, striped pillows in my dining room are also a new Etsy find!
The shop is called ElleSEAshoppe and she has so many super cute throw pillows!
I’m obsessed with her style! I love a good throw pillow!
You can change up throw pillows in any room and instantly update the look and feel of that entire room.
I’m going to link up everything that I can find featured in these photos to make shopping easy if there is anything you see that you like!
If you are looking for decor books, I have a huge list of options in my blog post here.
Also, my dining table chairs are on sale!! You can find them here.
My dining table is from Restoration Hardware and my rug is from Overstock, you can find my rug here.
This summer flew by so fast, but it’s been such a good summer.
I feel like we did so many fun things and took a few fun family trips, we definitely got our fill of fun before the new school year!
Hope your summer has also been great, let’s all enjoy the last of it and start the new season fresh!
Speaking of the new season… Fall….holidays….all things cozy! I’m ready for it!!!!!
Stay tuned for my chicken broth and beef broth recipes later this week!
