Star Ruffle Dress

Processed with VSCO with f2 preset

Happy Monday!

I haven’t done a style post in a little while because I’ve been so busy and to be honest, haven’t really been dressing up much since the holidays.

If I’m not at work, I’m home with the kids and have been getting back into fitness and organizing around the home. Sweats and loungewear have been my outfits of the day these past few weeks.

I have to say though, after the busy holidays and way too much junk food, it feels really great to be back in a routine and get organized once again!

This Sunday was extra sunny and actually kind of warm so I wore this pretty little star ruffle dress that I bought for spring and was so excited to wear early!

When it’s 60 degrees in January, you ditch the tights and pull out the spring dresses and light jackets!

I am really loving this dress so much! It’s a wrap around dress but has long sleeves and is lined so it’s not see through. I hate it when dresses don’t have a lining and you have to wear layers underneath.

I’m also really loving my TAH fanny pack right now. It’s the perfect “belt bag.”

This weekend flew by! I spent Saturday morning shopping with my sister and little Claire. It was fun to have a girls only morning!

Charlie spent the morning with Jason, they pressure washed things and did “manly” things around the house. Now that he is getting older he loves having one on one time with daddy.

He’s been such a mama’s boy for most of his life but lately I’ve seen him lean more towards his dad and I think it’s so sweet.

The rest of the weekend was spent with family and friends and was sunny, warm and pretty awesome.

On another note – I’ve gotten a lot of questions about “how to start a blog” and so I’ve been working on a step by step guide on how you can start a blog! I go into detail on the logistics of actually getting a site up and talk about how to start making money blogging as well.

Stay tuned for that in the next couple of weeks, it’s been a work in progress for a couple of months now! Tutorials and how-to guides are a lot of work, no joke!

Well, that’s all for now! Have an awesome Monday!
