I’ve always loved a good denim skirt, but since becoming a mom I have quickly discovered that wearing short skirts is not practical when the kids are around.
I was thrilled when I found this high waisted, but longer denim skirt! Not only is it soft, stretchy denim but it’s the perfect length to make it practical as a busy mama! It can be dressed up or down and best of all, it’s such a great price!

Aside from this skirt that I will be wearing way too often, this will be the first July 4th in a long time that we are staying in town! We usually go to Sunriver near Bend, OR, camping or to the beach but since it falls on a Tuesday, we decided to just stick around town.
Lately I feel like I’ve been such a homebody. I love summer in so many ways but especially because life feels a little more laid back and relaxed. We have been enjoying our days on blankets in the backyard or park, bbq’s with friends, walks around the city and evening bonfires.
