New York, I Love You

Here are some final pictures of our trip to New York City!

On our last day there, we stopped at the Plaza Hotel for Lobster rolls at Luke’s and Crepes and Coffee. Luke’s Lobster rolls are a must if you are in NYC.

After filling our tummies with so much delicious food, we spent a couple of hours walking through Central Park.

Before we had kids, I used to tell Jason I would love to live in NYC someday. At one point, we started applying for jobs and started entertaining the idea.

But then, we got pregnant with our son and decided that staying close to our families was best.

I never regret the decision not to move to NYC. We love Portland so much and I don’t think I could be this happy without our families nearby.

But I have to say, New York holds a really special place in my heart. Every time I visit I fall more and more in love with this city. I’m always a little sad when I have to leave and I’m always thinking of it in the back of my mind.

It’s so weird, no other place makes me feel this way. Who knows, maybe someday we will entertain the idea of moving there again.

Until then, we can always visit and get our NYC fill because New York, we love you!

I seriously love this guy so much. He makes my life so fun and full of laughter.
