The Must Have Fall Boots

The days have officially cooled off for us here in Portland and I have been wearing these boots on repeat. If you don’t have a pair of thigh high boots for Fall, you are missing out!

I actually bought this pair last year and never wore them. I kept making excuses like; my legs are too short, or they are too stand out-ish.

This year I decided I was going to put these boots to good use and I literally am so in love with them! I don’t know why I just let them sit all last season!

If you are thinking that your legs are too short, not “model thin” enough, etc, you are wrong. I feel like these boots can work for anyone’s body type, you just need to find the way to wear them that works best with your body.

For me, I don’t have the longest legs so wearing them with shorter skirts gives the appearance that I have longer legs.

I have also discovered that these don’t look good on me with blue jeans but they look great with dark gray or black skinny jeans. I just had to try them on with a few different styles until I found the few that work best for me.

These photos were taken by the talented Corey from Corey Bruce Photography yesterday for TAH Bags. I’ve featured her bags on my blog before, they are so beautiful! Read more about them here.

PS: these boots are super stretchy, so if you have larger calves, these can still work 😉

If you are looking for a pair of over the knee boots for Fall/Winter, here are some of my favorites! The Marc Fisher boots I am wearing in these photos are a perfect heel height. They are low enough that you can wear them all day and high enough that you can dress them up for work or going out.
