With so many strollers on the market, choosing the one stroller that is right for you and your baby can be hard.
You might be pregnant for the first time (or second, or third!), or you may be adopting or doing foster care, or perhaps you are a grandparent and you want a stroller around.
Whatever your need, the Mockingbird Stroller is the best new stroller around.
The single-seat, full size stroller is multi-functional and designed to be extremely versatile and it comes in a double stroller version for those of you that have multiple passengers.
Mockingbird Strollers have a reputation for being Luxe yet Affordable.
In this post I am going to review all of the features and functionality of the Mockingbird so that you can see what makes this such an amazing stroller!
I’m excited to share the Mockingbird with you because after testing it out for a few days, it has replaced our old strollers and is now our favorite stroller, ever.
With so many strollers on the market, the Mockingbird shines bright!
Let’s get started!
Here is a Comprehensive Mockingbird Stroller Review:
From the Mockingbird Box
The stroller is delivered straight to your door in one large box.
The Mockingbird box is so cute and says “Let’s Go for a Ride” in large letters across the front and back.
The stroller was packaged very well so that there was no damage to the stroller when I opened up the box.
Stroller Assembly
Upon opening the Mockingbird box, I found a set of instructions right on top which were easy to read and follow.
It literally took me less than 10 minutes to unpack and assemble the entire stroller.
There is one large component, which is the base of the Mockingbird and a few smaller components that you simply snap on, such as the wheels.
You basically just unfold the base of the stroller, snap on the wheels (front and back), and attach the canopy and bumper bar.
Snap the Mockingbird parts all together and you instantly have your stroller assembled and ready for baby!
Simple and quick assembly!
Mockingbird Stroller Review Video
In this video, I do a comprehensive stroller review of the single version of the Mockingbird so you can see the stroller in action as we spent our day out and about on a sunny Sunday!

Key Features
Stroller Frame
The Mockingbird Stroller is a single or double full size stroller with a full size frame.
Like that of the Uppababy, this stroller is made to last as your baby grows.
The stroller frame is 26″ wide (which makes it a little bigger than the Uppababy Vista) but still easy to push and maneuver in crowded areas.
If you have double the trouble, the Single-to-Double Stroller converts to a double stroller by simply attaching the second seat kit.
In this review I have the Single Stroller (which does not convert to a double).
If you plan on growing your family, I recommend purchasing the Single-to-Double Stroller from the get-go – more on this later!
Mockingbird Seat
First of all, I want to mention that the seat and frame of this stroller are super light weight and comfortable.
The seat can recline up or down so you can put your baby or child in a sleeping position, reclined position, or seated up position.
The adjustable seat is also great because it accommodates different ages and stages of your baby as they grow.
The seat comes with a harness seat belt and a safety bar to keep baby safe at all times.
The seat fabric is nylon which is durable and easy to wipe clean.
My favorite feature of the Mockingbird seat is the ability to change the seat to be forward or rear facing.
The solo seat (single) stroller has 5+ arrangements for one child.
The double stroller has 14+ arrangements for two children!
I also hear there is a “squad” feature coming out on the Mockingbird soon for your walkers to hitch a ride!
I love that the stroller grows with your baby from infancy to toddler and walkers.
Other seat features include:
- You can change out the seat to either use the regular seat or the Mockingbird Carriage which is designed for babies and smaller children.
- You can get the Mockingbird Car Seat Adapter for those of you that like to keep your baby in the car seat if they fall asleep, etc. AND the car seat adapter is compatible with most commonly used models – Graco, Evenflo, Chicco, Britax, Nuna, MaxiCosi, Cybex! So if you already have a car seat, no need to purchase a new one.
- Can be used from birth up through 50lbs
- The seat has an adjustable foot support for your little ones comfort.
- Add a second seat by purchasing the 2nd Seat Kit.
Canopy + Zipper Vent Panel to Protect Baby
The Mockingbird strollers are complete with a mesh lined peekaboo window that peeks over the seat so that you can check on baby easily.
The peekaboo window has a magnetic closure that makes no noise so that you don’t wake your baby up with any loud velcro or snap closure sounds.
The Mockingbird has a water-resistant canopy that is UPF 50+ and also comes with an additional cover to completely protect your little passenger from the elements.
The back of the canopy has a zipper vent panel which is great for allowing extra air flow to your little one.
The stroller canopy opens and closes smoothly over the seat and comes in different color options, which I will talk about next!
Customizable Stroller Color Options
Not very many strollers allow you to customize your ride, but with Mockingbird, you can!
You can choose from 3 stroller Canopy colors (Sea, Sky, and Black) with 2 Interior patterns (Water Drops and Windowpane).
You can even choose the leather colors on the stroller: Black or Penny.
The stroller I chose has a Sky Canopy and Water Drops with the Penny leather and it is so cute!
I get so many compliments on my stroller, the Mockingbird is definitely a show stopper and stands out in a crowd of other strollers!
Adjustable Handlebar
The strollers handlebar is adjustable so that you can make it fit your height – whether you are taller or shorter.
You simply push a button and select the height of the strollers handlebar by adjusting the bar up or down.
This feature is super helpful because one size does not fit all when it comes to stroller height.
Many strollers on the market do not have this added feature which makes pushing the Mockingbird more comfortable and ergonomic.
One-hand Fold
I love that this stroller has a one handed fold option – as seen in my video!
Having a quick, easy fold feature on a stroller is a must for quickly folding and loading the stroller in and out of the car.
When trying to load a baby and kids in the car along with all of your bags and stroller, a quick easy fold option is necessary to get you on your way.
You simply push a lever button on the strollers handle and the stroller will basically fold itself up so you can easily grab it and go.
Huge Storage Basket
The Mockingbird Stroller is designed with a huge storage basket underneath the seat.
The storage area is so large that you can fit a diaper bag, coats or jackets, your purse, and lots of other mom essentials.
So many other strollers on the market lack enough storage space.
The large storage basket on the Mockingbird is especially handy for those that use the stroller as transportation around the city or for longer periods of time.
You need a place to store belongings and items that you pickup along the way such as groceries.
Stroller Wheels
I have a dedicated review paragraph on the strollers wheels because the wheels on the Mockingbird are amazing!
The wheels are large and provide an ultra smooth ride.
Any mama knows not to wake a sleeping baby and that includes one that is sleeping in a stroller – so a smooth ride is a must when choosing a stroller!
The wheels can be locked in place or left unlocked for a 180 degree swivel.
I love that the Mockingbird doesn’t just have one wheel in the front, but two, which provides much more stability so that the stroller doesn’t easily tip over.
I had a stroller with only one wheel in the front before and it almost tipped on more than one occasion.
The Mockingbird has a one-step foot break and seat suspension to provide an extra smooth ride, even on more rough terrain.
This strollers wheel design plus the seat suspension and the perfect seat recline will have your baby snoozing in no time!
Mockingbird Double Stroller
As your family grows, the Mockingbird grows with you into a Mockingbird Double Stroller.
As mentioned above, the Mockingbird Stroller can be easily converted into a Mockingbird Double by simply using the 2nd Seat Kit.
The Mockingbird Double Stroller can accommodate several different seat arrangements to accommodate children of all ages (infants, toddlers, etc).
Some double strollers have a side by side seating arrangement which makes them harder to maneuver because the stroller is so wide.
The Mockingbird Double Stroller simply raises your first seat to make room for the second seat.
This means that the Mockingbird stays at 26″ wide all the time!
Just be sure you have the Single-to-Double Stroller model before purchasing the 2nd Seat Kit!
The Single Stroller Model will not work with the 2nd Seat kit.
The Mockingbird Double Stroller is comparable to the Vista by Uppababy but for a much better price point.
Add-On Stroller Products and Accessories:
To make the Mockingbird even more impressive, this stroller comes with some pretty well thought out accessories such as a snack tray which includes a tray table and cup holder for your little one.
Or how about an additional cup holder for yourself or a parent organizer as if the large under seat storage basket isn’t enough!
With the parent organizers, you can keep a baby bottle, cell phone, and other small accessories handy right next to the handle bar.
To protect the strollers seat, you can add a seat liner which makes cleanup easy.
For infants or those from 4-6 months, there are add-ons such as a carriage or infant seat insert to keep baby more comfortable.
Other notable Mockingbird features:
- Best-in-Class Safety to keep your baby safe.
- Affordable luxury – this stroller was so well thought out and the price is unbeatable. I’m all about “luxury for less” and this stroller has everything a luxury stroller has at an unbeatable price.
- Still not convinced? You can test the stroller for 30 days (in your home / on your street / at your park / in your car). If you aren’t happy (which you totally will be in love!), then you can send it back with free shipping both ways.
- Lots of accessories and add ons here.
- Mockingbird comes with a LIFETIME Warranty on the stroller.
The Mockingbird Stroller is definitely a bargain compared to other similar strollers on the market such as the Uppababy Vista ($350 vs $899).
For the price, there just isn’t a better stroller option out there – why spend $1,000’s when you can have the same. stroller for less!
Hopefully this stroller review helped you get better acquainted with the Mockingbird Stroller and all it has to offer.
