Mid-Week Getaway with Toyota USA

My husband and I got to take a mini mid-week getaway to explore the beautiful Columbia River Gorge courtesy of Toyota this past week!

We took off in this gorgeous 2018 Toyota Camry that they let us use for the week and our end destination was at the Skamania Lodge in Stevenson, WA.

My husband is a loyal Toyota driver. When I met him in college he was driving a Toyota Tercel and then upgraded to a Toyota 4Runner. He now drives a Toyota Tundra.

He is a loyal believer in Toyota’s quality and longevity.

I grew up with Toyota’s in our family as well and have always known them to be safe, reliable cars. This is so important to us now that we have children of our own!

I love how Toyota really revamped the 2018 Camry to make it more luxurious and sporty but without sacrificing safety and functionality.

You can read all about the new Camry here.

I was kind of surprised how much leg room there was in the back of this car. A lot of sportier cars are small on the inside, but you can easily fit two car seats in this Camry and still have lots of room in the back seat.

Some of the things I personally look for in a car are; space for car seats, trunk space, heated seats because winters are cold in Portland, backup cameras, leather seats (because they are soooo much easier to clean with kids), and a nice stereo system.

The 2018 Camry not only meets all of my expectations but exceeds them. If you are on the hunt for a new car, stop by your local Toyota dealer and give this beauty a test drive!

When we arrived at Skamania Lodge on Wednesday, we spent the day exploring the lodge and drinking coffee by the fire. The lodge is such a cozy place. We also explored Stevenson, WA and the surrounding area.

That evening we attended a fun dinner hosted by Toyota and then we went zip lining the next day!

I am pretty scared of heights so I kind of surprised myself when I went on all of the zip lines. We had such a blast!

Thank you Toyota for a pretty awesome little getaway!
