We cannot believe Christmas is already here, what a year!
2019 was a big year for us!
We sold our house in late 2018 and moved to a different part of the city.
In January Jason quit his job of 7 years to be an entrepreneur.
He was working fulltime and running a business and his business grew to the point where he could pursue just that and quit his daytime job.
Thanks to Jason’s successful business, I also quit my job in Finance to be a stay at home mom a few months later!
It has been such a blessing to be able to both pursue our long awaited dreams (his to be an entrepreneur, mine to be a stay at home mom and pursue blogging).
We have been renting a cute little town home and for most of the year we were on the hunt for a build-able lot.
Finally in the early summertime, we bought a beautiful property and began the work just a few weeks ago!
The process of designing and getting the approvals to build took longer than expected but we are hoping to move into our brand new home in March of 2020.
Our home project began this month and so far we are 90% done with the demo of the existing house on the property, excavation is done and foundation and framing beginning right after the new year.
We took a family trip to Maui in May.
Claire turned 3 in June.
Jason and I celebrated our 9 year wedding anniversary in July.
Charlie turned 6 in September and started Kindergarten. He loves it and is doing so well!
Claire is still loving ballet and unicorns and Charlie loves Basketball, the Oregon Ducks, and anything to do with dinosaurs and action figures.
It’s been an eventful, adventurous, and blessed year!
We are thankful for our health, family and each other!
