For those of you that followed along on my posts about our home build, you might remember this mood board I made for Claire’s room before the house was even done:
At that time I was still in the planning phases and was only dreaming up what her room was going to look like.
It’s so fun to see it all come together!
Today I am taking a break from the Christmas content and sharing Claire’s bedroom!
Although I still need to find some artwork for her room and maybe a few more cute throw pillows for her little seating area by the window, I just love how her room turned out!
It’s so sweet and girly, yet decorated in a way that she can grow into it.
She has her own little walk in closet with all of her cute little dresses, shoes and a basket of her favorite Barbie’s and tea set.
On her nightstand she keeps her collection of Disney Princess bedtime stories and a picture of me holding her when she was only 1 week old.
Of course we added a little Christmas decor this time of year!
You may notice there is not really any pink in her room!
I feel like a lot of people struggle with finding little girl themes that don’t involve pink, but you can still do a girly theme without pinks and purples.
Just look for creams, whites, and soft textures.
I chose a simple floral texture for her pillows and sheets in a cream and mustard color combo and an embroidered design for the decor pillows.
The beaded wooden chandelier softens the blue tones and adds a nice neutral element and some warmth.
I added even more texture with the fringe on her comforter and this gorgeous rug to tie it all in!
I purchased this vintage yellow velvet chair pictured above from one of Jason’s cousins several years back and it is so beautiful!
I love to add vintage touches to our home – they are so unique and beautiful.
Claire loves her room!
Below I will link up all of the items in Claire’s bedroom.
Some of them are sold out so I will link as many similar items as I can!
