Kids Maui Packing List

Hello, hello, or should I say “Aloha” from beautiful Maui!

Everyone is just waking up and I’m sitting out on our Lanai overlooking the ocean.

The kids did sooo good on their first plane ride, they had so much fun!

We landed around 10:30am on Tuesday and it took us about an hour to get to our resort from the airport. We checked in and got something to eat for the kids and headed straight for the beach. We spent the rest of the day on the beach or by the pool and it was just divine!

Woke up and repeated the same thing yesterday!

I have my laptop with me so I will try to do blog post updates daily if not every other day while we are here so you can follow along 🙂

But I said I would share what I packed for myself and the kids and so here is a quick list of what to pack for your kiddos for a tropical vacation! You can see what I packed for myself in this post here.

Maui is probably one of the easiest vacations to pack for because it’s so laid back and the weather is so consistent.

I was able to fit all of the kids stuff in one shared carry on luggage. Here are some of the main items I packed for the kids!

Daytime Looks

We will be on the beach or by the pool all day, every day so I bought a bunch of swimsuits and swim trunks for the kids. I didn’t link them all up because some are from last year and no longer available or I found them on clearance at random stores.

H&M has great swim trunks for boys and you can’t beat the price!

I made sure each kid has an SPF rash guard to protect them on super hot days or to give their skin a break from the sun mid-day. Amazon and Target had great ones linked up here!

Nighttime looks

I bought some really cute little dresses for Claire, here are a few of them! I will share more on my Instagram and link them up there when she wears them.

I also packed some leggings, flowy little tops and a light sweater in case it gets cooler in the evenings.

H&M has really great basics for boys. I got him some basic tees and shorts. I also am bringing his denim jacket and some cute little tropical themed button up tops!

Shoes & Accessories

A pair of sandals for each kid and one pair of tennis shoes are the only shoes I packed for the kids. I love Jelly sandals for Claire because they can get wet and are easy to clean. These sandals I got for Charlie are also easy to take on and off and can be worn from day to night.

I am bringing Claire’s knock off Golden Goose sneakers from Amazon. They are SO cute:

Also bought them some cute sunglasses from Amazon and a few sun hats to wear by the pool.

Obviously we packed pajamas, undies and the necessities, but you get the idea 🙂

I Amazon Primed the sunblock, sand toys and a few other items to our hotel! I will share what I ordered in a post later this week.

Everyone is up so time to head out for breakfast and out to enjoy the sunshine!
