I love dressing up for the Holidays and I especially love to wear dresses because they are so feminine and fancy.
On the other hand, I don’t like purchasing clothing items that I can only wear once so I rarely buy anything for just one occasion. I like to buy things that are versatile and can we worn several different ways; dressed up, dressed down, for a special occasion, and throughout the different seasons.
For example, I bought this red dress at the beginning of summer and wore it during the summertime, during Fall as pictured in this photo shoot and even to a recent Christmas party I attended. I love that I can dress it up or down and wear it to so many different occasions.

On another note, I just got a new DSLR camera! I am so excited to be able to take lots and lots of pictures and bring more of my daily life to this blog! I currently work with a photographer but wanted to buy a better camera for all of the in between days when I don’t have a photographer. I want to be able to capture our daily life and share more of that part of our story on here!

We are leaving to the mountain on Wednesday morning for four days, just Jason the kids and I! I am so excited to spend four days at the lodge in the snow watching Christmas movies, drinking hot tea and spending countless hours cozying up with my favorite people in the whole world!
