When I asked Jason what he wants to do for Father’s Day he said he wanted a beach day with me and the kids.
I said “that sounds like a great plan,” so we headed for the Oregon Coast and had such a good time!
The weather at the Oregon Coast is so hit or miss.
It is usually cold and windy but we got really lucky because although it was cloudy, it was about 70 degrees and there was no wind (which is so rare!).
The sun made a few short appearances between the clouds but the clouds didn’t bother us!
This was our first beach trip of the year and we spent several hours on the beach just playing in the sand and relaxing.
Here are a BUNCH of photos of the perfect Father’s Day family beach trip!
On Sunday morning I attempted to try a new French toast recipe because Jason loves French toast and because we are currently at my parents house until our new house is done, we enjoyed a Father’s Day breakfast with my dad too.
It was nice being able to cook them breakfast and have the morning together in our pajamas.
I feel like moms often get the spotlight as the “primary caretaker” but we really should celebrate dads more!
They work so hard and are the foundation of the family!
Happy Father’s Day to all of the dads out there!!!! All of the hard work doesn’t go unnoticed and we so appreciate you!
