More Maui Days

Happy Friday!

Today is our last day in Maui! We’ve been here for two weeks and we feel like we are now finally ready to go home.

I miss my healthy home cooking and our everyday routine. I love long trips like this because 7-8 days isn’t enough, but by the end of 2 weeks, you are ready to go home. You don’t feel like you wish you would have had a few more days in paradise.

I cleaned the entire house from top to bottom before we left, so we will be going home to fresh clean beds and a spotless house.

Is it weird that I am excited to get home and do the whole mom/housewife thing?!

The first thing I want to do when we get home is make a grocery run, pickup some fresh flowers, go home, stock the fridge and get back to our everyday routine.

I love traveling and vacationing, but part of me is also such a homebody. I love everything about the daily routine and being home with Jason and the kids.

I’m also excited to eat a good, healthy home cooked meal and hit the gym. I worked out a few times on our trip but my eating wasn’t great (too much good food!). I like to enjoy myself on vacation and just get back on track when I’m home.

Here are some photos of our beach day yesterday. It was a cloudy day but it was still in the 80’s so it felt good to be in the ocean. It even rained on and off in the morning and the rain was warm!

Another family photo! Family photos are hard with kids but this one turned out pretty cute. Both kids are looking and they are both smiling, winner!

And I’m running out of swim coverups at this point in our trip, so I wore one of my dresses as a swim cover up and one of the kids spilled pineapple juice all over it. That’s mom life for you! 🙂

It’s 8:00am here so we are going to head to the beach and enjoy our last full beach day! We promised the kids we would stay aaaalllll day until sunset. Enjoy your Friday friends!
