Jason planned a weekend trip to the lodge for us last weekend and it just so happened that Portland was expecting a “snowpocalypse” that very weekend.
Portland didn’t end up getting much snow but we were in a winter wonderland up at the mountain. The storm that hit Portland came through the mountains too and we got about a foot of snow in addition to what was already there.
It was like being in a snow globe, simply beautiful!
It snowed Friday but was basically sunny or partly sunny on Saturday and Sunday which made for perfect sledding weather. I will post more pictures of us with the kids later this week.
I got so many questions about this one piece snow suit when I posted it on my Instagram stories and it really is the best snow suit I’ve ever owned! It kept me warm and kept snow out because it’s one piece.

This black suit is a classic and can be worn for years to come. It’s sold out at the moment but I have seen it restock before so keep an eye out for it. It sold out last year and when it came back in stock this year I bought it right away!
For those that were asking about the sizing, I ordered a size 6 and it fits perfectly with another layer underneath. Sometimes Topshop runs small but I’d say this is pretty true to size!
The forecast says we should be getting more snow in Portland next week and I honestly wouldn’t mind. I love a few snow days per year!
