Mom Jeans

I like to call my high waisted jeans mom jeans because they truly are the best fitting pant for chasing after little ones all day. You can run around, bend over and do all sorts of movements and they stay in place. They also don’t show your backside when you are bending over. I’m not in the business of plumbing, no one wants to see that! Anything high waisted and cozy, like this sweater, are on my winter wardrobe favorite list.

My jeans are by Topshop and you can find similar ones HERE , HERE, or HERE.

Knit Sweater is from H&M, but is not on their website – but similar ones can be found HERE and HERE.

Purse is from Anthropologie and the brand is Liebeskind. They make such pretty, soft leather bags!

Boots can be found HERE.

Happy New Year! I hope your 2017 is off to a good start!

2016 was such a great year for our family. We welcomed a baby girl, Claire, into our family, remodeled most of our house (upstairs, basement & exterior), my husband had some great career milestones, and we just all around had a blessed year.

For 2017 my hopes and goals are to continue to focus on motherhood and our family, meet some of my fitness goals and promote a healthy lifestyle for my family. As a family we hope to travel a little this year and just slow down and enjoy the kids, they grow so fast! We are also planning on remodeling our main level which includes our kitchen and main level bathroom. We live in an old 1940’s english tudor style home that we have been remodeling for a couple of years now. I think 2017 is the year we will complete the remodel!

PS: This is my day 4 hair! I have to find the time to do a hair tutorial. Learning to curl my hair like this has made getting ready in the mornings so much faster! I can curl it one day and not comb it or touch it up for 3-4 days and it still looks great! I just add a little dry shampoo to freshen it up and I’m good to go. Hopefully in the near future I can do a quick video tutorial if anyone is interested – and if I get the time!

Love,
