My name is Denise and I’m the editor of MOMMING.com.
In 2011 I started a fashion blog (All Things New Blog) and as time went on and we bought a house and had kids, the blog morphed into more of a lifestyle blog. The main focus of my blog changed from fashion to family, motherhood, DIY, home decor, remodeling, recipes and so much more. From 2011 – 2013, I was actively updating my blog and participating in the blogging community both locally in my city and online. When our son Charlie arrived in 2013 my posts slowly started to dwindle. During this time my career in Finance took off and I found myself working 40+ hours per week for a local high tech company. I loved the fast paced executive environment, but was missing my creative side. Between my career and our son, I had no more time for blogging. From 2013 – 2015, I posted a couple times per month and then eventually stopped completely.
Fast forward to 2016, we had another baby, Claire and I decided that I wanted to focus more on motherhood and my creative side, With the support of my husband Jason, I took the plunge and quit my full time job. I opened an Etsy store and decided to start my new site: MOMMING.com where I can share bits and pieces of the things that inspire me to be creative.
So here I am, “momming” my babies, blogging for MOMMING.com, and running my vintage Etsy shop.
I’m pretty sure I work more than 40+ hours per week now, but I’ve never been more content and satisfied! Sometimes you just need to take some risks to do what you love!
MOMMING.com is a lifestyle blog about more than just motherhood. It’s about connecting and learning and being inspired by all of the beautiful things in life!
Please stay a while!
